The man arrested for the October 13 robbery of the Starfire gas station in Zanesville pled guilty Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

26-year-old Ryan Taylor of Fultonham pled guilty to one count of robbery and one count of theft.

Taylor robbed the Starfire gas station at the corner of Pine Street and Pershing Road last Tuesday.

Judge Mark Fleegle continued his bond at $50,000 while Taylor awaits sentencing.

A Fultonham man has been officially charged in connection with Tuesday's robbery of the Starfire gas station in Zanesville.

According to Detective Sgt. Ric Roush 26-year-old Ryan Taylor will face one count of robbery.

Starfire, at the corner of Pershing Road and Pine Street, was robbed around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Shortly after police arrested Taylor on Luck Avenue.

He is currently being held in the Zanesville City Jail.

Zanesville police say they have one man in custody after an early morning robbery.

It happened at the Starfire Gas Station at the corner of Pershing and Pine around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday.

According to Detective Sgt. Ric Roush, a 26-year-old white male with a bandana over his face entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect made it seem as though he was armed.

Roush says he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
