A Zanesville home is destroyed in an afternoon fire at 103 Amazon Hill Rd.
Zanesville Fire Department officials say around 1 p.m. on Monday, they received a call of smoke coming from the roof of the home.Officials say the damage is severe and the house is most likely a total loss.

A home in Roseville is destroyed after a fire ripped through the structure and damaged other nearby homes.
Crews responded to the fire on the 200 block of Washington Street just before 11 a.m. Thursday. Below freezing temperatures created problems for the nearly seven fire departments on the scene. Roseville Fire Chief Ed Guy said the structure took about two hours to extinguish.

Fire fighters at the Zanesville Fire Department worked tirelessly to put out a structure fire on South Sixth Street on Sunday.
At approximately 11 a.m. authorities say that the fire department was dispatched to 19 South Sixth Street in reference to smoke coming from a downtown building. Once at the scene the department determined that the situation was worse than imagined.

A fire engulfed a home late Saturday night completely destroying the structure.
New Concord Fire Department was first on the scene and say that they received a call from a witness who noticed smoke coming from the home on the 10000 Block of Coshocton Road. They arrived at approximately 9:30 p.m. and firefighters say no one was injured and that the family was on vacation in Virginia Beach at the time of the blaze.
According to the police scanner, at approximately 9:30 Saturday evening, there were reports of a fully involved structure fire just north of 10610 Coshocton Road.
Crews from New Concord and Adamsville are at the scene and more help from Guernsey County was dispatched due to downed live wires. It is not known at this time if there were any injuries or fatalities. We will release more information as it becomes available

The blaze started at a structure behind the Zane Food Mart off of Linden Avenue. The Zanesville Fire Department responded to the scene. The Assistant Chief says he has an idea of what might have caused the fire.
