The earth shook in Morgan County and as far away as Muskingum County, Wednesday morning after a gas line exploded.

"She just said she thought God was coming for her."

That was the description Tommy  Sayers mother gave him after a 36-inch Houston based Tennessee Natural Gas Pipeline ruptured around 8:30am Wednesday morning. The ensuing flames charred the surrounding hillside and destroyed two homes on Taylor Road in Glouster.

Zanesville Water Main Break

The Zanesville Water Department is battling a water main break on Dresden Road Wednesday morning.

Superintendent Paul Mills said that Dresden Road is closed between Yale and Taylor because of a four inch water main break.

Mills said the break isn't too serious and should be fixed within 4-5 hours. He said it's also possible that residents in that area could experience no or low water pressure until the main is fixed.
