Binge drinking can have a long-lasting impact on a teenager.

Executive Director of Muskingum Behavioral Health Steve Carrel said about two-thirds of high school students engage in underage drinking, and about one-fourth of those kids report binge drinking.  He said new brain research indicates that this behavior might be even more dangerous than originally thought.

AAA along with "Seventeen Magazine" and the Department of Transportation urges teenagers to quit a bad habit through a special initiative.

There's texting, and there's driving. Then there's the deadly combination of both. According to AAA, 60% of teen drivers surveyed talk on the phone while driving. Out of them, 28% text.

About 100 teenagers all across Muskingum County are gathering for a National Day of Prayer.

Youth group leaders wanted to show these young men and woman how the power of prayer can impact their lives.

The Zanesville Highway Patrol says four teenagers were taken to the hospital after a one vehicle accident Monday afternoon. It happened on Dresden Road just south of McGlade School Road. Troopers say 17-year-old Kyle Hittle of Dresden was driving his
