Several projects around Muskingum County meet approval and will begin to take shape.

Friday the Transportation Improvement Board voted to help fund two bridge projects. The 1929 Trinway Bridge between Dresden and Trinway will be the first replaced. The T.I.D. Board will give $200,000 to the project. More than 3,200 cars cross the bridge daily.

Numerous property owners on State Route 666 and Old Adamsville Road complaining of property damage due to trucks accessing the Eastpointe Business Park, may see some relief.

The Executive Director of the Transportation Improvement Board says the truckers using GPS are being told to take the roadways, new signs will be placed on Interstate 70 east and west by the Ohio Department of Transportation to direct truckers to use the Adamsville exit as a means of getting into the park.
