Licking County wants to highlight the community and how its residents are choosing to be tobacco, alcohol, and drug free.

The health department cites that each day about 3,000 kids pick up and smoke their first cigarette. It will ultimately lead to 1/3 of those kids dying from tobacco-related illnesses, and Health Commissioner Joe Ebel says tobacco use is the number one preventable cause of death.
