The Zanesville High School hosted the 5th annual Y-Bridge Cheerleading Classic Sunday afternoon. "Winland" gym was packed with over 700 cheerleaders and spectators. Teams from all over Ohio came together to compete against one another with the goal of advancing on to the next level.

A local superstar is holding a basketball tournament not only for the love of the game.

NBA player and Zanesville-native, Kevin Martin is bringing the inaugural Hoops Kick-Off Basketball Tournament to his home town April 1 to 3. It's something Martin has wanted to do for years, and it's about more than playing the game, it's a way he's giving back.

Golfers hit the links today to support the Red Cross.

About 120 golfers came out to the Jaycee's Golf Course, helping the organization raise much-needed funds.

"We've been very busy this winter," said Dan Hartman of the Red Cross. "The number of fires has kept on going, so an event like this is really going to help out the checkbook."

Hartman says the Red Cross is $27,000 in the red currently. He hopes today's fundraiser brings them closer to being in...
