Athens County authorities said one person was killed in trailer fire early Thursday morning...

The Rome Township Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to the trailer fire at 8345 Second Street in Stewart, Ohio (Athens County) at 2:40 Thursday morning, with one person trapped inside. Firefighters said upon arrival, crews found the structure fully engulfed in flames, and were not able to attempt any interior rescue, due to the large amount of fire.

 The Frazeysburg Fire Department battled a fire in Coshocton Sunday afternoon. 

Frazeysburg Fire Chief Dave Smith said the fire at 18147 Pike Township Road 382 in Coshocton was reported around 4:42 p.m.

Chief Smith said the cause of the vacant trailer fire is being investigated at this time. They aren't sure where the fire started and it's being ruled suspicious until the investigation is completed.

Firefighters in Harrison Township battle a structure fire in Philo.

The fire began just after 5 a.m. Wednesday at a vacant trailer.

The trailer is located at 628 5th Street.

Wayne Township Fire Department was also called in to assist.

The Adamsville Fire Department is still on the scene of a fire that took place early Wednesday morning.

The Adamsville Fire Department said the received a call of a trailer fire at 7135 Mutton Ridge Road just after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to scanner traffic the trailer was believed to be vacant.

A trailer fire Tuesday evening in Newton Township brought out crews from multiple fire departments.

It happened at the Colonial Place Trailer Park at 2870 Maysville Pike just after 8 p.m.

Neighbors watched on as fire crews from Newton Township, Roseville and South Zanesville extinguished the blaze.

Newton Township Battalion Chief Craig Knox said when crews arrived on the scene, they found fire and heavy smoke billowing out of the residence.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a trailer fire in Newton Township.

According to Lieutenant Josh Bryan, firefighters from Newton Township, South Zanesville and Roseville were called to Darlington Drive Sunday afternoon.

He said the trailer was fully engulfed, but crews were able to contain the fire. Bryan said the trailer has been unoccupied for about six months.

A fire in Muskingum County destroyed a trailer on Monday afternoon.

Washington Township Fire Chief Gene Hanning said firefighters from Washington Township and Zanesville responded to a call just before 5 PM.  He said the trailer at 201 Eastwood Drive was engulfed in flames when they arrived.

"There may have been people home, but they got out, and there's no one injured," said Hanning.
