Some charities are being affected by the economic downturn.

Receiving approximately 50 calls a day, the United Way's Call Center gets a good idea of where Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties greatest needs lie.

In a little more than a year, the 2-1-1 Call Center has made significant strides in assisting community members in finding the help they need. In the Summer months especially, the United Way has seen a surge of callers, most of them requesting assistance for utility and income assistance.

A year has passed and the united way is celebrating the success of their Southeast Ohio Call Center.
