There aren't as many H1N1 cases surfacing in the US, but health organizations say there's still the chance that a third wave of the virus could develop this spring.

"The World Health Organization is declining to reduce the pandemic level because it's not winter yet in the southern hemisphere. So, I think they're waiting to see what will happen when winter strikes in the south, " says Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department Health Commissioner, Corey Hamilton.

The wintry weather couldn't keep students and their families within the Franklin Local School District from getting their H1N1 shots.

The Zanesville Muskingum County Health Department sponsored the school H1N1 vaccination clinic.

"We've been very pleased with how quickly move along," said Gloria Kieffer of the health department. "Today for a while people had to wait for about 10 minutes, but overall it's been well organized and very little waiting....

The Licking County Health Department says you may not need as many doses of the H1N1 vaccine as originally anticipated.

Health Commissioner, Joe Ebel, says if you're 10 years of age or older, you will only need a single dose of either the nasal spray or the injection to fight contraction of the H1N1 virus, but Ebel says younger children may need some more help.
