The Blue Devils get win number one on the year and their first ECOL league win with a five point victory over Marietta. Zanesville trailed after every quarter, but played a sound game down the stretch to preserve the victory. The Jeff Moore era at Zanesvlle has gotten off to a fast start as the Lady Devils remain perfect on the year knocking off visiting Tri-Valley. Kailee Howe once again was the high point scorer for the blue and white as she tallied 16 in the win. Coach Leigh Ann Longaberger couldn't help but smile when asked if the eariler season loss to the Tornadoes motivated her squad in the rematch. It was a ridiculous question, consaidering it was the first time these group of Scotty seniors had lost a conference game since the seventh grade.

John Glenn: 18, 27, 20 West Muskingum: 25, 29, 25

It took awhile but after winnig game one over the vsiting Lady Muskies, West Muskingum was able to set up a show down with Tri-Valley for the out right league title and managed to stay perfect in the process. Dylana McKenzie was her usual force at the net racking up 16 kills all while her twin sister Dakota sat out with an ankle injury.
