One person is dead following a one vehicle crash in Guernsey County Friday afternoon.
It happened around 2 p.m. on Byesville road. Cambridge State Highway Patrol Trooper Shawn Allar says a 30-year-old male drove off the right side of the road, overturned, struck a ditch, and hit several trees. The victim, who has not been identified yet, was not wearing a seatbelt, something Trooper Allar says could have drastically changed the circumstances.

One person was taken by medical helicopter following a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon.
Trooper Jeff Fowler from the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says a Suzuki motorcycle driven by 43-year-old Kevin Patterson of Zanesville was northbound on State Route 60 around 4:30, when a 2001 maroon Dodge Ram, traveling south, failed to yield while attempting to turn left onto Cutler Lake Road. Patterson struck the pickup truck, was ejected, and hit a guardrail.
