A Duncan Falls Youth Group would like to invite you to a block party, dedicated to spreading the word of God.

Last year the United Methodist Church Youth Group decided they wanted to make a difference, and for the first time sponsored a block party here in Zanesville. Youth Group Member, Katie Bollinger, said, she feels a love from God and just wants to share it.

 A new youth group in Roseville is hoping to spawn some interest in some local kids.

The St. Johns Lutheran Church youth group hosted their first ever Cruise-In event, on Saturday afternoon. The community was invited to bring their cars, trucks, and tractors to an afternoon of food, games and prizes. Organizer Steve Wolfe, said, the group currently only has about a dozen kids, so an event like Saturday's takes a lot of effort.

Some locals started their Saturday by walking to help out those in need.

The youth group at Apostolic Christian Church in Zanesville walked six miles around Zane's Landing Park to help raise awareness for several different causes including obesity, diabetes and breast cancer.

"We are teaching our children how to be servants and anyway that we can help out in the community that's what we are basically doing and we think we can help out for those who can't get out and walk...

Combine cotton candy, popcorn, and prizes, and what kid wouldn't be there?!

The Salvation Army was buzzing Thursday as children of all ages stopped by for a fun "Block Party" afternoon put on by the Duncan Falls United Methodist Church.

"We've got cotton candy, popcorn, free hotdogs, hamburgers. We've had people that have heard about the ministry and we've had so many churches that have come together and donated food, games, prizes," says Duncan Falls United...

One local youth group is branching out from its ministry in Duncan Falls.

After growing to a size of about 40 people, "Eternity" is ready to bring church to the people.

"We had a youth group of just 2 teenagers, and we asked them to be disciples and go tell their friends because on Saturday night, the mall is full of stray kids running around bored. Facebook is boring them with them talking to each other. So, we asked why don't you bring your friends for something...
