Five woman accused of being prostitutes are off the streets thanks to an undercover sting by the Zanesville Police Department.

Tony Coury said after recent complaints from downtown area business owners, ZPD conducted an undercover sting using an informant and arrested Misty Dawn Taylor, Morgan Jackson, Jennifer Toombs, Donna Schrack and Ashley Lombardi this past week. The Zanesville Police place one person under arrest in connection to an early morning break-in and burglary.
Captain Tony Coury said that around 4:30 Monday morning a resident in the 500 block of Schwallie Avenue reported a stolen lawn mower. The resident was able to give a description of the suspect and vehicle.
Officers found the vehicle still in the area at the intersection of Schwallie and Sunrise.
Recovered at the scene was the lawn mower and multiple tools.
