State Troopers plan to be out in full force for New Year's Eve.
The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is increasing the number of troopers on the road and the length of their shifts during the holiday as they attempt to detect and apprehend impaired drivers.
"The patrol is very diligent in looking for impaired drivers, hoping that people will use caution and plan their activities over the holiday and not drink and drive," said Lt. William Boyd.
