Zanesville Mayor Butch Zwelling is one of many Democrats around the state taking the stage today to discuss Republican gubernatorial candidate John Kasich's tax plan for Ohio.
Kasich's plan includes gradually eliminating the state tax over time.

Zanesville Mayor Howard Zwelling is appointing a temporary replacement to the position of City Treasurer.
The position became vacant when the former City Treasurer, Walter "Butch" Norris, announced his retirement. His last day is today.
So, Swelling appointed Paul DuBeck Jr. this morning.
