The WHINNY Horse Rescue is holding their annual trader's day flea market at the Perry Co. Fairgrounds, 5445 St Rt 37 W, New Lexington. Sat, April 20 will be from 9am - 6pm. Sun, April 21 will be form 9am - 3pm. It's indoors, so it's rain-or-shine. Some of the horses will be on site, so come meet them. Benefits go towards the horses at WHINNY Horse Rescue.

McConnelsville & Malta Kiwanis Club is having their 36th annual preventative health testing program for all area residents on Sat, April 27 from 7-9:30am at The Riecker Center in McConnelsville. Over 30 tests will be performed from a small blood sample. Cost is $35 for all 30 tests. An optional prostate specific antigen (PSA) test & thyroid (T4) & hemaglobin A1C test is being offered for an additional $25 each. It is important that participants do not eat or drink anything except water following the preceding evening's meal, & no smoking the morning of the test.
