This program, held at the South Branch Library, will teach children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 how to be a good pet owner, meet the Shelter staff and how to volunteer at the shelter. 6pm and registration required: 454-1511.
Alan Parker from Canoe Creation will teach us some fun facts about birds and how to care for them during the winter. Everyone will make their own bird feeder to take home. Held at the Duncan Falls/Philo library branch at 6pm. Registration required by calling 674-7100.

A tribute to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be held at 4pm featuring the combined voices of the Singspiration Choir with a special message commemorating and celebrating the life of Dr. King. The performance is free of charge and open to the public.
