The Community Youth Foundation is sponsoring a coat driveto benefit area non-profit organizations before winter comes. Donations of gently used and new coats of all sizes will benefit The Salvation Army and families with children in the Eastside Community Ministry Youth Program. Cash donations can also be made by mailing to CYF Coat Drive, 534 Putnam Ave. Zanesville Ohio 43701. Individuals can donate coats by dropping them off at the Community Foundation and at several Century National Bank branches or main office downtown.

11th Annual Knights of Columbus Council #505 Cruise-In & Rib Roast on Sunday, October 11th from 11am-3pm at council Hall located 275 Sunrise Center. Registration is $7. Open to all Years & Make of Cars, Bikes, Tractors, & Trucks. Dash plaques to the first 100. This is not a judged show, but all entries will be in a drawing at the end of the show for some nice prizes!! Rib dinners, Bob's homemade bean soup & plenty of good food. Drinks will be available inside and on the patio. Pottery toss in the Big Hall, quilt raffle, bake sale, lots of raffles and drawings.
