THe community is welcomed to attend the FOP Zane Lodge service to honor those who gave their life in the duties of Law Enforcement. Held at Zane Lodge #5 Parry Lane in Zanesville. Service begins at 10am.
Perry County District Library will kick-off summer reading programs for all ages the week of June 7th. Following a successful run of events last summer, the library would like to once again offer the Firday Night Concert Series featuring local talent...Music on the lawn @ Your Library. This would take place on the front lawn stage at the New Lexington Library, and would give local bands and soloists the opportunity to play in front of a live audience while supporting their library and their community.

Mark your caldendars for Saturday, June 5th and Sunday, June 6th to volunteer for a Special Event with the 2010 Zanesville Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. While many people get involved by playing in the Tournament or as a spectator, Special Events enhance each Gus Macker Tournament and provide extra dollars for organizations and groups. Each Special Event, excluding the Slam Dunk Contest, runs both days. Morning and afternoon shifts are available for registering participants and assisting with the contests. Most shifts are 3-4 hours in length so get your shift spoken for today.

The Roseville American Legion - Post 71 and "The Friends of Sam Hatfield Stadium" present a Steak Fry on Saturday, May 22nd from 4-7pm at Roseville American Legion Hall. Tickets are $12, which includes 10 ounce steak, baked potato, green beans, salad, and dessert. Get your tickets at the Franklin Local School District Administration Office, Roseville Peoples Bank, Fink's Harley-Davidson, Roseville American Legion Hall, or from any committee member. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Will be held on May 8th at 6pm, performed by the youth of the church to help pay for their summer camp. The church is located across the street from ZHS. Public is invited and your donation will be appreciated.
On Saturday, May 8th. City letter carriers, rural letter carriers, postal employees and volunteers will join forces on Saturday, May 8th to stamp out hunger in our community, conducting the National Association of Letter Carriers "STAMP OUT HUNGER" Food Drive in Muskingum County.
It's the one day of the year, that all Americans have the opportunity, with the help of their mail carrier, to easily donate food to help needy families in our comunity. All donations benefit Operation Feed. Last year, letter carriers collected 21 thousand pounds of food in Muskingum County.
