Turkey Supper to be held November 14 from 4-7pm at Pleasantville United Methodist Church, 112 Lincoln Avenue in Pleasantville. There will be a bake sale preceeding the dinner at 1pm. The menu includes turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, greeen beans, cole slaw, rolls & butter, pie or cake. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 & under. The Muskinugm Valley Chapter American Red Cross is hosting their 2nd Annual Free Military Family Fest on Saturday, October 24 at the Zanesville Municipal Airport Hanger 7 from 1-4pm. This event is our way of giving back to the military and their families in our three counties Muskingum, Perry and Morgan.
We will have over fifty exhibitors under one roof that military families can talk to on everthing from VA benefits to Psychological First Aid for Military Families.We will have various activities fo the kids such as dunk tank, rock wall, clowns, Bard the Bunny and the smokehouse.

P.T.Reptiles! A live encounter with fascinating creatures from the reptile world, featuring the knowledge and talented Peter Rushton, will be held at the Church of Christ in Shawnee, Ohio, at 6:30pm. This program is open to the public and will be great for all ages. Rushton offers an up-close look at live reptiles in this interactive family event. The Sheridan High School Performing Arts Department will be hosting the 2nd Annual Holiday Craft Bazaar on Saturday, November 14 from 9am-3pm in the Sheridan High School Commons. Local crafters will be selling handmade crafts, gifts, and baked goods. Entertainment, good, and raffles will be held throughout the day. Tables are still available for $15 per 6-foot table/space. The women of the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church of Frazeysburg will hold their annual Bazaar and Luncheon on Saturday, November 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church on West Carlisle Rd. Luncheon includes homemade soups, sandwiches, pies and cakes. Bazaar includes hand sewn items, dish towels, dishcloths, scratchers, crafts, towel sets, jewelry, baby quilts, Christmas items, etc. Bake Sale features homemade pies, cakes, bread, rolls, candy, cookies, mush, jam, candied cucumber strips, etc.
The Norwich United Methodist Church is having their chicken supper on Saturday, November 7 from 4-7:30pm at the Lodge Hall in Norwich. The public is welcome and there will be signs posted.
The Second Church of Christ, 19 S. Williams St. in Newark, will be hosting a revival on November 1-3 at 7pm each evening. The speaker will be Doug Forester, Author of The Last Patriarch, Attends Johnstown Church of Christ, He is CEO of First Ohio Benefits and a speaker and promoter for the Addiction Recovery Movement in the United States and Canada. Doug is married and has two daughters. The event is free and open to all.

Along with millions of Americans across our great nation the Zanesville Crime Stoppers Watch organization will participate in the 19th Annual Make a Difference Day on October 24th. This is the largest community service effort in our nation, corporations, government leaders, charitable organizations and everyday American citizens go into helpful action mode on this one day. It is a salute to neighbors helping neighbors.
