Muskingum County Center for Seniors will be presenting a mini seminar "How to Make Your Home a Safer Home". This will be presented by Kim Foster from County Health Department and the Center for Seniors. She will be discussing healthy home issues such as: radon, indoor air quality, lead based paint, mold, and other healthy home issues. On Saturday May 15th. Tickets available at Foxfire High School.
Benefit Fun Run/Walk at 8am:
The run/walk registration will start at 8-8:25am at the Foxfire High School track. The event will begin at 8:30am. The cost is $10 per person which includes free admission to the Eagles Benefit
Benefit Poker Run at 11am:
Bikers will meet at Fink's Harley Davidson in South Zanesville with the last bike pulling out at 1pm. The event will end at the Zanesville Eagles at 7pm. The cost is $10 per person which includes free admission to the Eagles Benefit

Support Local Cub & Boy Scouts While Recycling Scrap Metal

Support Local Cub & Boy Scouts of Maysville Troop 132 by recycling scrap metal. Please drop off any unwanted metal (Cans, aluminum or steel, etc.) at the large recycling container located on the old OK Coal lot (across from CVS).
Money raised will support the purchase of a cargo trailer to be used to haul and stor camping gear.

Mother's Day Chicken Bar-B-Q

On Sunday, May 9th from 11am until sold out at Washington Twp. Fire Department, 2310 Adamsville Rd in Zanesville. The cost is $8 per dinner, which includes eat-in: 1/2 chicken, fries, applesauce, green beans, and roll; carry-out: 1/2 chicken, chips, applesauce, and roll. Social Media Workshop

Southern Perry Incubation Center for Entrepreneurs (SPICE) in New Straitsville and the Holland Center in Corning are co-sponsoring a one-day workshop designed to assist those interested in social media. The workshop will take place Thursday, May 20th from 3-5pm at the Holland Center at 116 West Main St. in Corning. The cost of the workshop is $10 and prior registration is required.
