Representative Balderson is inviting area children to read and have a chance to become a Legislator for a Day.
Children in 1st through 6th grade may pick up a bookmark at any of the 6 public libraries in Muskingum County. They must read and report 5 books and the number of pages of each book on the back of the bookmark. The completed bookmark must be returned to a Muskingum County public library no later than December 18 to be eligible for the drawing.
Will be held Sunday, December 6th from 1-6pm in Pataskala and the West Licking County area. Features six homes, a church, a community center and the historic theatre in the old Pataskala Town Hall all displaying very interesting and beautiful holiday decor. The sites date from the late 1820's to the present. Tickets are $7 per person or $10 per family. Tickets and informational brochures are available at these area locations: Bremen Banking Center of Pataskala, Pataskala and Kirkersville Branches of the Park National Bank, All locations of the Pataskala Banking Company.
Presented on Saturday, December 5th at 7pm at Central Presbyterian Church in Downtown Zanesville. Join Mike and Mary Beth Ward, Jan Smith, Teresa Lichtner, The Silver Tones, Julie & Joyce Janicki and Mary Lucas for the music of Christmas. Proceeds from the $6 admission fee will go to benefit The Fellowship of Christ's Community. There will be food preceding the concert at 6pm. The Fellowship of Christ's Community is an ecumenical outreach ministry which meets every Sunday evening providing a hot meal followed by a worship service.

Come and walk through Bethlehem in Chandlersville Ohio. Parking is at the Chandlersville U M Church, and enter the church to be transported back to Bethlehem. Music begins at 6pm in the church and first groups go through at 6:30pm. Chandlersville is located 10 miles east of Zanesville on St. Rt. 146. Free and open to the public. 6pm-9pm.

The seventh annual Southeastern Ohio Bridal Prom & pageant Expo will be held Saturday, January 16th. Vendors wanted and tickets available after December 1st. There will be runway fashion shows, live entertainment, door prizes, delicious samples, and a premier shopping experience!
You can help families keep more of their own money this tax season by becoming a Volunteer Tax Counselor. The Tax Coalition of the Financial Stability Partnership needs volunteers to help provide free income tax preperation in 2010. In 2009, volunteers prepared almost 500 federal and state returns with total refunds fo over $350,000 and clients kept every penny of their refuds!
The South Zanesville United Methodist Women's Annual Soup and Sandwich dinner will be held December 5th from 4-7pm at 53 East Main Street, South Zanesville.
