There will be a spaghetti dinner at the Roseville Rec Center on Nov 7th from 4-6pm to benefit Pearl (Crain) VanWey. Pearl was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in August after being laid off from PCC, she has since undergone two surgeries and will start her chemo treatments Oct 8th. Pearl already has substantial medical bills and they are rising everyday, so please come out and help her in this time of need. Advance tickets are $5.00 and $6.00 at the door. There will be homemade desserts and drinks for an additional cost.
SOUPer Bowl Benefit Luncheon, "A Simple Meal to Meet Basic Needs", to be held Sunday, October 18th from 10am-2pm at Muskingum County Center for Seniors. Tickets are $5 for adults in advance/$6 at the door; Children 12 & under is $4.

The Pioneer and Historical Society of Muskingum Co. will host a series of ghost walks in Putnam led by local historial and author Gary Felumlee. Ghost walks will be held on October 4, 5, 9, 10, 29, 30 and Nov. 1. all walks begin at the Stone Academy, 115 Jefferson St., Zanesville at 9pm. In case of extreme inclement weather, stories will be told at the Stone Academy and a short ghost hunt may be offered. Cost is $5/person.
