George is the News Director of the WHIZ Media Group. He also co-anchors the 6:00PM news on WHIZ-TV and anchors daily news updates on AM1240 and Z92 radio stations. George has been working at the station since 1981 and started as a general assignment reporter. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s degree in communications. When not at work you can find George playing golf during the mornings on weekends and watching the Reds and Bengals win championships.
Carolyn Fleegle

After leaving the news business for six years to start a family, Carolyn Haley-Fleegle returned to WHIZ-TV in April, 2006 to anchor LIVE AT NOON. She also co-anchors the 6 PM news. Before leaving the station, Carolyn co-anchored the 6 o'clock news and anchored the news at 11 for seven years.
An Ohio native, Carolyn grew up in Kettering, a suburb of Dayton. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio where she obtained a degree in Communications.
While not at work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her two sons going to the movies, bowling and playing miniature golf.
Nichole Medaugh

Nichole Medaugh is a native to southeastern Ohio growing up in Perry County in the Village of Corning. She is also a proud graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School.
Currently Nichole is a multi-platform journalist working in both radio and television news. She's also a proud member of the Ohio Associated Press Board.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communication from Waynesburg College, emphasizing in both Sports Broadcasting/Sports Information and Journalism.
Nichole joined WHIZ in 2000 working as an intern before joining the news staff on a full time basis in 2005 as a photojournalist and sports reporter. She then fully committed to news as a reporter.
As a student at Waynesburg, Nichole held the position of Sports Director of WCYJ-FM her senior year, calling Yellow Jacket basketball games and high school football. She also was sports anchor for a weekly newscast on WC-TV and a contributing reporter to College Broadcast Incorporated Best Radio Newscast, "Greene County Matters." She was also a writer for the Waynesburg College Yellow Jacket newspaper.
Nichole chose broadcasting because of a love of her community and learning what is important to the people that live in Southeastern Ohio. She's always looking to hear a good story.
When she's not working you can find Nichole at various sporting events, especially if hockey is involved. She loves hiking at Blackhand Gorge and currently resides in Zanesville with her roommate and brother, Ephraim and her cat Ellie.
Kelly Mills

Kelly Mills currently anchors the 11 p.m. news each week night. Kelly returned to WHIZ-TV in June 2009 after working as a reporter at Fox 28 in South Bend, Indiana. She had previously worked for WHIZ-TV in 2007 and 2008 as a reporter and weekend anchor.
A native of the Youngstown area, Kelly graduated The Ohio State University in March 2007 magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Her majors were Public Affairs Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis on social issues.
While in college Kelly completed numerous internships. She spent the summer before her senior year at OSU working at Fox News Channel in Manhattan at "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren."
Kelly and her family currently reside in South Zanesville.
Kelly Choate

Kelly Choate is new to the Buckeye State, but she’s very familiar with the Buckeyes.
Kelly graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. While at Penn State, Kelly worked as an executive producer, anchor and reporter for the Centre County Report on WPSU. Her stories were recognized by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and the Society of Professional Journalists.
Kelly has a passion for news and sports. She participated in the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism at Penn State.
A native of the Philadelphia area, she interned at Sports Radio 610 WIP and NBC 10.
Kelly joined WHIZ-TV in July 2011. In her free time, she enjoys cheering for her Eagles and Nittany Lions, playing fantasy football, and visiting family and friends.
Jennifer Bullock

Jennifer was born and raised in Zanesville. She graduated from Bishop Rosecrans High School and was very active in volleyball and track.
Jennifer joined WHIZ in February 2012 as a news reporter. She graduated from Ohio University in Athens, where she received her bachelor's degree in Broadcast News from the Scripps School of Journalism. She also received specializations in Spanish and Geography.
While studying at OU, Jennifer worked at WOUB Television as a reporter, anchor and producer for Athens MidDay Television. Jennifer also interned at WHIZ during the summer of her junior year in college.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and watching sports. Her favorite teams are the Ohio University Bobcats and the Buckeyes, of course! She is also an active member of Hands of Faith Church.
Jennifer is excited to be back in her hometown of Zanesville and looks forward to working as part of the WHIZ news team!
