This year’s outdoor show may be about checking out all the cool hunting gadgets, getting tips on fishing or camping, but it’s also much more than that.
The 4th annual Muskingum Valley Outdoor Show kicks off Saturday at the fair grounds. New this year is a benefit banquet, taking place Saturday evening to raise money for the group Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry.
Along with the banquet, there will be educational opportunities for kids, a swappers meet and a gun show, “If you love the outdoors, if you love to see wildlife, if you like to hunt, if you like to hike, if you just like being outside, there’s going to be something for just about everybody,” said Jay Benson who helped organize the event.
The show runs Saturday and Sunday at the Muskingum County Fair Grounds. Admission is free before noon, after that it’s $5 per person or $20 per car load. Call 740-607-3374 for more information on the banquet.
