Bond has been set for a Zanesville man accused of robbing two Heath businesses and then leading police on a chase. 53-year old Thomas Walker is being held on a $75,000 bond at the Licking County Justice Center. Walker is suspected of robbing a Dollar Tree store located at 617 Hebron Road and Goumas Candy at 19 Claren Drive. Police received a call around 7:00 Tuesday evening, regarding a robbery at the Dollar Tree. Shortly after police arrived, they received a call regarding a robbery at Goumas Candy. According to a press release, the suspect had a weapon. As an officer was en route to Goumas, he was alerted by Indian Mound Mall Security of a mini-van driving erratically. The officer began to follow the van, which resulted in a chase. The van allegedly led police on a two mile pursuit when it crashed into a fence on Dorsey Mill Road.
