Little Caesars Pizza, on Maple Avenue in Zanesville, is cleaning up after a car smashed into the side of its building this afternoon.

It happened around 4:30 p.m.

Zanesville Police Department Patrolman Burke says the driver was pulling out of the speedway gas station onto Military Avenue when he lost control of his car and hit the building.

Burke says no one was injured during the incident, but some of Little Caesars’ employees told WHIZ that they were only 10 to 15 feet away from where the car crashed.

Little Caesars is closed the rest of the day as a crew is coming to fix the busted wall.

It opened at the Maple Avenue building just over three weeks ago.
