Several former students are now inductees in a local hall of fame.
Mid-East Career and Technology Centers honored three graduates for their contributions to the area and the school.
“Mideast has been very instrumental in their personal and professional lives,” said Shannon Kenily, Student Placement Coordinator for the school. “We just like to recognize them because we’re very proud of their successes.”
One of those students enjoyed his experience at Mid-East so much, he came back to teach.
“After graduating from here and back working in the same program I graduated from,” said 1976 graduate Robby Robinson. “It’s a great honor to receive the award.”
Mid-East honors esteemed alumni once every year. This is the seventh year for the program. The school also holds it’s Fall Advisory Committee Banquet in conjunction will the ceremony.
This year’s inductees were Robby Robinson, Steve Gaswint, and Cynthia Paazig.
