Police in West Virginia arrested a local fugitive wanted for murder Wednesday night.
Authorities arrested 23-year old James McCrae in Vienna, West Virginia, according to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz.
Several law enforcement agencies in Vienna worked to apprehend McCrae, who was taken into custody without incident. He’s being held in the Wood County Holding Facility on a $2 million bond.
Lutz said he did not know how authorities discovered McCrae, but he did say law enforcement contacted the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office to confirm a warrant against McCrae.
McCrae is suspected of fatally shooting 32-year old Shane Goins back in April.
