The Zanesville fugitive suspected of murder, waived his extradition hearing Friday.

23-year old James McCrae will be transported back to Muskingum County after waiving extradition, according to Mary Beth Myers of the Wood County Circuit Clerks Office.

Authorities discovered McCrae in Vienna, West Virginia on Wednesday. Several law enforcement agencies in Vienna worked to apprehend McCrae, who was taken into custody without incident.

He’s accused of fatally shooting Shane Goins at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Oak Street back in April. Since then, law enforcement have considered McCrae a fugitive. He was the Muskingum County Sheriff Office’s most wanted suspect last week.
