The city of Zanesville is bracing itself for impact this week.
The impact world tour kicked off tonight in the Zanesville High School Gym, where hundreds packed the bleachers to see powerful displays of strength.
“We’re just a bunch of strong guys and we all travel with our families and we do strength feats,” said R.K. Castillo, a member of Team X-Treme. “We break bricks, tear phone books, bend steal bars. We’ve got guys bench pressing and we just travel the world sharing the message with young people.”
Castillo says that message is to inspire young people to find their destiny in life. He says although tonight’s show is all about strength, the group’s show Wednesday and Thursday nights will be different.
“Tomorrow night will be Polynesian dancing like you would see if you went to Hawaii, this is what you’d see,” he said. “Thursday night will be hip hop dancing and break dancing. Every night is a different thing, depending on what on what you like you can come see that.”
You can catch the Impact World Tour tomorrow night and Thursday night in the Zanesville High School gym at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
