Wet roads are being blamed for an early morning accident in Zanesville that sent one woman to the hospital.
Around 8:45 emergency crews responded to a rollover accident on Interstate 70 near the Adamsville exit.
"It looks like she was just traveling westbound on the interstate, probably hydro-planed on the wet roadway which caused her to slide into the median. The vehicle then struck a culvert and over-turned at least once when it came to rest on its side," says Sgt. Clark Felix.
The woman was transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
