One of the nation’s most historic roadways showcases what it has to offer this weekend.
Those looking to take a leisurely fall drive along East 40 will see many activities for the family, like pumpkin painting, home cooked food and store specials at many of the businesses.
“It’s a wonderful way to showcase the wonderful businesses that are located along 40 East National Road,” explained Kelly Ashby chamber of commerce vice president. “A way for them to showcase all the wonderful items they have for sale and just a way to give back to the community.”
The businesses stretch from Zanesvill all the way to New Concord. The time of the event is based on the business’ hours.
“There are lots of businesses concentrated in one area,” said Ashby. “There are speciality stores, there’s restaurants and museums, family fun oriented activities.”
In addition McDonald’s Corn Maze will also be open.
