A familiar face in Muskingum County government is leaving to pursue a new position.
Stephanie Hill who leads the Community Development Block Grant Office is leaving to take on a new position with an 18th Congressional Campaign.
“I love politics,” said CDBG Coordinator Stephanie Hill. “I worked at the State House for two and a half years. I figured when this opportunity came along I better take it while I got the chance. Anyone that knows me knows my true passion is politics.”
While Hill may be leaving the CDBG, Hill says she and her husband will remain in Zanesville.
“I’ll be doing a lot of traveling throughout the 18th congressional district and Southeastern Ohio, but our home is here in Zanesville and that’s where we’re going to stay,” explained Hill.
Hill’s last day is November 6th. She’ll be replaced by Sheila Sampson who currently runs the Housing Department.
