The Muskingum County Commissioners are opening bids on the Olde Falls Road Sanitary Sewer Project.
Commissioner John Bates says initial estimates for the project came in around 1.4 million dollars, and the commissioners had three bids presented to them this afternoon.
"All of them came in close to the $1.4 million. A couple of them were under, and we’ll probably be voiding that bid next week sometime. Tentatively, we’ll probably know on thursday who’s going to get the bit, " says Bates.
Bates says the project will serve 115 homes near Arc Drive, Valley Drive, Sunrise Circle, and Sunset Circle.
"The next step after that, they’ll be out there working on it, " says Bates.
Bates says the commissioners hope for work on the project to start sometime in November.
