One of Muskingum County’s sewer project has run into some delays.
During a meeting Monday morning Muskingum County Commissioners got an update on the sewer and water projects. The West Pike sewer project is getting special attention.
“We are a little bit behind because we had to move some water lines and we had to move some fiber. We had a problem crossing route 40. We’re behind,” says Muskingum County Commissioner John Bates.
The West Pike project though behind should meet it’s deadline. The Commissioner says the simulus money helped out the funding for other projects and he’s hoping they will bring more people to the area.
“More people relocate, hopefully with all the info structure factories relocating here the younger generation will stay here. We have the work force, ” says Muskingum County Commissioner John Bates.
Commissioners say they will also announce the winning bid on the Sonora Road project this week.
