The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties is sponsoring two special funding cycles this fall.

Executive Director, Meg Deedrick, says one is a basic needs funding, which helps agencies that are making a community impact by meeting an urgent or pressing need.

The second is a community impact funding cycle for United Way partner agencies.

"This is outcomes based funding so that we can provide additional assistance. This is over and above the investment we’re already making, but we want to provide additional assistance to being about outcome that improve the community for us all, " says Executive Director, Meg Deedrick.

Deedrick says the United Way wants to invest as much money into its services as it can because of the current community conditions we’re in.

"We were able to make this investment because people invested in us in last year’s campaign. So, that’s important to remeber in this year’s campaign season. By making an investment in us, you are really reaching all corners of our community, " says Deedrick.

The United Way is accepting applications for the special funding cycles now through November 9th.
