A man is taken to the hospital last night after losing control of his car.
It happened around 11 p.m. on South River Road/State Route 60.
The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says Jeremy Porter was traveling northbound when he went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Then he went off the left side of the road and rolled over before hitting an embankment.
Witness reports state Porter then proceeded to get out the back window of his car and to stumble into the surrounding weeds.
Sergeant Jeremy Mendenhall says Porter was injured in the incident with cuts around his head and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mendenhall says the driver will be charged with an OVI and failure to control.
