High School Seniors Still Have Time

Admission deadlines for colleges and universities is fast approaching, but high school seniors still have some time left if they don’t know where they want to go or what they want to study.

However, you’ll need to follow the admissions process more closely.

"You’ll have more hoops to jump through. You won’t have as many scholarship opportunities, " says Muskingum County Community Foundation College Access Program Director, Heather Sands.

Sands recommends applying to your favorite school and have some other back-ups in place so you have more options.

She says you don’t need to have a major lined up yet either.

"Enter undecided. Some students don’t decide right away. It’s not abnormal to wait and decide later on. I mean. There’s a lot of adults right now that are going back and changing their career paths are well, " says Sands.
