315 local health departments and about 90 hospitals across the state of Ohio will be receiving new shipments of the H1N1 vaccine.
The Ohio Department of Health requested almost 450 thousand doses of the vaccine from the CDC last Friday. That order includes about 68 thousand doses of the H1N1 flu mist and 370 thousand H1N1 flu shots.
The Ohio Department of Health says this round of H1N1 vaccines is still intended for high-risk groups.
So far, Ohio has received a total of almost 1,500,000 doses of the H1N1 vaccine.
