Red Cross Helping New Lexington Man Who Lost Home

by Emily Baird on November 1, 2009

The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is helping out a New Lexington man who lost his home Friday afternoon.

Executive Director, Dan Hartman, says the organization is providing clothing and food to Matt Plaisted.

Hartman says the 3595 Palmer Road home is a major loss, but luckily, he says Plaisted wasn’t injured because Plaisted wasn’t home at the time of the fire.

Hartman says Plaisted is currently staying with family.

The Muskingum Valley Red Cross has help more than 10 families during the month of October, whose homes have been damaged by fire.
