Spielman Loses Breast Cancer Battle

Breast cancer research advocate Stefanie Spielman passed away Thursday at the age of 42.

According to the Associated Press, Spielman died at her family’s Upper Arlington home, succombing to breast cancer after a more than 10-year-battle.

Spielman and her husband Chris, a former Ohio State and NFL football player are well known for their efforts in the fight against breast cancer,

The Stefanie Spielman fund for breast cancer research has raised more than $6.5 million for research at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.
