A Zanesville man is facing OVI and failure to control charges after an accident in South Zanesville last night.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. on Greenhouse Road.

The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Tyler Shawger was traveling eastbound when he went off the right side of the road and then swerved toward the left side of the road, striking an embankment and overturning the Jeep.

Sergeant Jeremy Mendenhall says the driver was not injured in the incident but did have a blood alcohol level of .167, which is around twice the legal limit.
