Cambridge Fire Being Ruled Suspicious

The Cambridge Fire Department says it’s unsure of the cause of an early morning house fire but it’s ruling it suspicious.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Clark Street.

Assistant Fire Chief, Rick Foraker, says when crews arrived on the scene, the back porch and a portion of the roof were engulfed in flames. It took crews about three hours to get the fire under control because the roof began to cave in.

The home is considered a total loss.

Foraker says the home was abandoned and no power had been connected to the home for a couple of years.
