The YMCA is trying to help working parents this holiday season.

It will be offering two three-day camps. The first will take place December 21st through the 23rd and the second will be December 28th through the 30th

"We thought here’s an opportunity to provide the parents and their families with an opportunity for their kids to come to a program that’s first of all safe, structured, and they’ll have a lot of fun, " says YMCA Executive Director, Craig Miracle.

The kids will get to take part in an array of activities, including one field trip.

"Not only are the kids getting physical activity, but also we’ll be able to take them to the computer lab, introduce some of the kids to that, but also give them the opportunity to do some networking and socializing with their friends, " says Miracle.

The camps will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Park Central.

This is the first year the YMCA has decided to hold a holiday camp.
