New Year’s Eve is just a few days away, that means it’s time to decide what you will promise to get right or give up in 2010.
We talked to several people today and like many years a lot of folks say their New Year’s resolution is to stick to a diet and exercise plan. Others want to get healthier, eat right and learn how to make their own delicious entrees.
"My New Year’s resolution, one of them, is to start cooking more. I need to learn how to cook and need to get more into the kitchen," Shannon Riley said.
And some say they just want to be a better person.
"I want to try to be more patient with other people when they are not being kind." "So be more patient," Mike Durant said.
Some people say they still haven’t figured out what they what they want to do to bring in the new year.
"This year I haven’t even thought about it but I need to think about it. So I don’t know yet," Gabrielle Campbell said.
But Campbell says she will most likely have one. But there are some people who choose to not make one at all.
"My New Year’s resolution is to not have a resolution because every year I have a resolution it takes about two or three days before I completely break it," Ryan Bradford said.
And one couple is bringing in the new year in Holy Matrimony.
"We are actually getting married on New Year’s Eve," Brady Sharrer said.
Brady says his resolution is just to be great husband to his new bride.
