Wireless Internet to Cover All Muskingum

Muskingum County is one step closer to having wireless Internet access all across the county.

Director of Information Services for the county Dan Long says the project will be a long process, but is needed for the area.

"It’s trying to get the broadband out to areas of the county that don’t have a Time Warner, or AT&T or Verizon," said Long. "The ultimate goal is to get that information out there or that service out for the public."

Long says Coshocton County recently launched wireless to cover the holes in the area. It now covers 80-percent of the county.

Long says he will meet with the Coshocton Information Services team this week to learn more about how they are running the program.
