A Zanesville woman is taken by MedFlight to OSU Medical Center in Columbus after an early morning accident.
It happened around 5:30 a.m. on Sonora Road.
Zanesville Post Trooper Hale says Dacia Matox was traveling south when she went off the right side of the road and struck both a curve and guardrail. The impact caused the car to roll down an embankment and land on its top.
Hale says Matox was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extracted.
She was taken by ambulance to the Zanesville Municipal Airport where she was MedFlighted.
Hale says Matox’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
