One lucky Zanesville lady is the recipient of this year’s Sertoma Service to Mankind Award.
Tonight at the Sertoma banquet at Eaglesticks, Zanesville resident Beth Chapman was given the award for service to the community.
"It’s really an honor," said Chapman. "I enjoy doing things in Zanesville. We have a great community here. It’s an honor to be awarded the Service to Mankind Award. It’s quite a surprise."
Chapman serves on the board of the American Cancer Society and the Zanesville Downtown Association. She has also been involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Gus Macker.
